Nettie's Cottage, Blue Mountain Beach, Florida

This little cottage was designed to fit into the corner of a residential lot in Blue Mountain Beach. The challenge was building it, as the site did not allow for easy access. The structure was built off site using light gauge steel and flown by crane in to position. The design is compact and reflects a more contemporary look. Vines will eventually cover the wood lattice and conceal the building behind a 'hedge' minimizing its visual impact on the lot.
